Happy birthday to me! Chose to try Hanoi for my birthday lunch and oh boy, I was not disappointed. My husband and I were both impressed with the decor and the greeting when we arrived. The service was outstanding from every member of staff but Kasia was just a complete joy! The benchmark of how hospitality should be. I had the 2- 4 -1 French Martini which tasted as good as it looked. The food? Compliments to the chef. We both had the scallops which were tasty and perfectly cooked. I had the Yuzu chicken which was just divine! My husband (who's eaten a lot of burgers) says the Samurai burger was one of the best he's ever had. All the dishes looked fabulous (sorry, forgot to take any photos. The food smelt so good we just wanted to tuck in). Kasia and colleague brought me out a good slice of chocolate cake with a candle and two spoons which was a lovely touch. We went on a Tuesday and it was very quiet - perfect for my Autistic husband. He wants to go for his birthday meal next month!

Food was excellent and the service was just as good. Couple of small points of feedback:

The Scallops say a hint of Wasabi but couldn't taste any. Maybe up it a little?

The summer rolls had hardly any prawns in and the bottom of one felt a little rigid so had clearly been made quite a while before.

Music didn't seem very on theme and made it a little confusing whilst sat down as to the restaurants identify. You might not have known you were in a Vietnamese restaurant.

It feels very Instagramy. Maybe tone that back a little to get more of the theatre goers in.

Overall it was a little on the pricey side but paid for the quality. Would definitely return.

I visited them last week and how disappointed we was
We had mushrooms starter which we ask it to come with main meals that was tasteless and than we had the beef Vietnamese Rice Plate - Com tam and it was bad the beef was chewy and tough , gristle and the rice was oily over cooked
My husband had the same but in chicken all above too apart chicken part was ok.
Very disappointing and save your money

Absolutely beautiful freshly cooked Vietnamese food. The staff were warm and welcoming with special regards to the waiting team including Finley who was so friendly and helpful. The head chef, Zee and his team who cooked our food to perfection. We definitely recommend this delicious menu. This was our second visit to the restaurant and look forward to many more! 😊

An overall really enjoyable meal, packed with flavour and generous portions, and a nice cocktail post meal, alongside friendly and pleasant service from the lovely Vasty! Would definitely visit again to enjoy other dishes on your menu!
